Six Thinking Hats®, de Bono Thinking Systems

Dr. Edward de Bono created the Six Thinking Hats® as a systematic method of thinking which provides employees and leadership teams with skills and tools that can be applied immediately! Companies can see results in days, not months.

Team members learn how to separate thinking into six distinct categories. Each category is identified with its own colored metaphorical “thinking hat.” By mentally wearing and switching “hats,” participants can easily focus or redirect thoughts, the conversation, or the meeting.

PILLARS© is a process by which PEAK’s consultants work with organizations to take them from thinking reactively to thinking creatively through examining seven components of the organization. Walking through the multiple components that make up PILLARS© presents the leadership team with the opportunity to take that necessary “step back” in order to create the flexible and inclusive structure that will serve to create immediate change as well as a model for long-term strategic decision making.

View from the Peak

The View from the Peak is a modified SWOT analysis that is used as a strategic planning tool.   This tool uses the intelligence within an organization to find solutions.
